Other deputies and I went to [100 BLOCK] Vestal Circle to attempt a warrant service on Christofer Harrison.
As we approached the residence, Christofer saw us and fled on foot towards Peaceful Cove. I gave chase after Christofer as he fled the area on foot. Christofer stopped in the 100 block of Peaceful Cove Road and was apprehended.
Christofer was searched before being placed in the rear of the patrol car. During the search, a small bag of of a clear crystal substance, suspected to be methamphetamine, was found in the left front pocket of his shorts.
I transported Christofer to the jail without incident.
At the Sheriff’s Office, I performed a methamphetamine field test kit on the clear crystal like substance found on Christofer. The field test kit showed positive for methamphetamine. The methamphetamine was placed into evidence locker 007.
I secured warrants on Christofer for obstruction of a law enforcement officer and possession of methamphetamine.
